Robert Vial House

The Flagg Creek Heritage Society is a Non-Profit Organization and an affiliate of the Pleasant Dale Park District. We are dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the Flagg Creek area.

The Society operates the Flagg Creek Historical Museum and the Robert Vial House located on the grounds of the Pleasant Dale Park District at 7425 S. Wolf Rd., Burr Ridge IL, as well as hosting many programs throughout the year. Both the Museum and the Robert Vial House can be opened upon request. Groups are welcome. “The Mystery of Ribbon Dolls/Ribbon Ladies”

This is the collection of Libby Sturdy of Ribbon Lady pictures. These pictures were popular crafts appearing in the 1920’s. The “ladies” were made of ribbon and other embellishments. This exhibit only runs until the middle of July. Call Alice at 708-927-1092 if you would like to view this exhibit on other than a Monday morning. The museum can be opened for you at any time. We also will be open on Sunday, July 5th from 2-4 and Sunday July 12th from 2-4.
